Rumah Berkelanjutan (RB) is a research institute and development specializing in driving strategic innovations for sustainable development and environmental stewardship.

Brief History

Rumah Berkelanjutan (RB) was established in 2020 under the legal name Perkumpulan Rumah Indonesia Berkelanjutan (Notarized by Ervina Ida Wahyuni Adam, S.H., M.Kn.). Operating publicly as Rumah Berkelanjutan, the organization is also recognized as The Indonesian Sustainability Initiative. RB was founded to continue the Institute Green Aceh’s objectives, following the latter’s ten-year tenure and subsequent dissolution in 2018.

The institution is dedicated to advancing sustainable development through a strategic focus on social equity, environmental integrity, and cross-sectoral integration. To achieve this, RB conducts rigorous policy analysis and data-driven studies, facilitating strategic discourse and policy influence, strengthening stakeholder capacity and community-led initiatives, and cultivating multi-sectoral collaborations to ensure scalable, long-term impact.
